BNI is the first national bank since its established in 1946. BNI starts to circulate first official payment tool Oeang Republik Indonesia (ORI) on 30th October 1946 and today the date was celebrate as National Finance Day. in 2004, an updated corporate identity began to be used to describe the prospects for a better future, after the success facing difficult times. The term 'Bank BNI' shortened to 'BNI', when the year of establishment '46 ' used in the company's logo to reinforce the pride as the first national bank who was born in the era of the United Republic of Indonesia.
